What is WAP?
To download products such as Colour Wallpapers or Polyphonic Ringtones, you will need to have a WAP enabled handset. Most mobile phones made after 2001 should have WAP. Please check your phone instructions, or call your phone service provider to be certain. If you have WAP on your phone, it should be already configured. If you do not have WAP set up on your phone, please contact your network carrier for instructions. Alternatively we can recommend getting WAP configuration sent directly to your phone. Please select "WAP Settings" above.

How do I know if my phone is compatible?
To find out if your mobile phone is compatible with our services, please refer to our "Handset" compatibility listing for the product that you would like to download (graphics, ringtones, games). Your mobile model can be found by removing your battery (see picture below), your brand can be found on the case and your operator appears on your bill. The model name or number can also be found on the mobile, on the box or in the manual.



How will I receive my purchase?
All products (graphics, ringtones, games) are sent through WAP (wireless application protocol) via an Internet network. Your mobile phone must be configured to receive WAP messages. Although most recent phone models are automatically configured to receive WAP messages. You can very easily find out if it is configured by phoning your provider or looking on their Internet website.

And after the download?
You will receive an SMS (text message), with a WAP link (exemple: http://wap.salammobile.net/product), within the next 30 minutes (it can take a little longer). From there, depending on your phone model, you either need to click on the link, click on the option go to or, for older phone models, retype the address. Once this is done, you simply save the product on your phone. Although it varies from one model to the next, ringtones, graphics and games are usually added in folders like "medias", "ringtones" or "downloads". Please note that everything described in this paragraph has to be done from your mobile and it is impossible to download from your PC.

What is a Text Message (SMS)?
This method of payment will let you get the service on your phone just by using your phone. You have to send the SMS (text message) to specific short number. To make it possible you have to know how the messages are set on you phone. Please refer to your user manual to have more information. Basically, you have to send the product number as the message itself, and the number you have to send it to is indicated on this website.

Do I need to have SMS text-messaging on my Phone?
All our products require SMS text-messaging technology. If you do not have SMS text-messaging service on your phone, you cannot order our service. For more information, contact your GSM network, or buy a new phone.

How do I pay?
Your purchase will be charged on your phone bill when we will receive your request and send to you back the content.

How do I download?
Once you have clicked on a product that interests you, a pop-up window will appear. Please make the appropriate selections, and follow the instructions. From there, you simply select your operator, your phone model (see above), click on send button and continue to select your payment method (SMS, Telephone, PayPal or Credit Card).

Why is my GSM Network or my mobile phone not in you list of compatibility?
There are some networks, and some phones which are not compatible with our service.

How do I order a ringtone or wallpaper?
Find the ringtone or colour wallpaper you like, then point your mouse at the image, click on it, and then a new window will open and in that window you will find the necessary information to order the product you desire.

I ordered a product, but it hasn't arrived. What should i do?
It can take up to sixty minutes for a ringtone or image to arrive on your phone. Please make sure that your phone is turned on, and that it is working properly. Please also check that your phone is compatible to download our products and that you carefully followed the order instructions. If your problem continues, please contact Customer Support for further assistance. Click on the Support link above.

My ringtone (or wallpaper) arrived but when I attempt to download I receive an error message. What is happening?
Your mobile phone might not be compatible with our services. Please check the capabilities of your phone on the pages provided on this Internet site.

I do not know how to use WAP or something is going wrong with it. What Should I do?
If you do not receive the settings from your service provider, please find the link above for "WAP Settings".

I have entered my pincode on the website, but I have not received my item. What to do?
Your order may be delayed. If you have not received an SMS message from us containing a WAP link, please fill our the "Support" link above.

I know I can use wap, but my mobile phone was not in the list when I ordered. Can I download the item anyway?
No, we only support the mobile phones on the list. If we do not support your mobile phone, it is not possible to download the item.

I have a Nokia or a Sony-Ericsson and I cannot find the NEXT key. What to do?
On the most Nokia phones, you can find the NEXT key under Options. On some Nokia phones you can find the NEXT key under MENU and then Service Options. On other Nokia phones you can find the NEXT key under MENU, then (Service) Options and then Other Options or Shortcuts.
On the Ericsson T300 you can find the NEXT key by pressing the key under Yes (square with 2 lines). Now select NEXT and press Yes. The download link will be activated. Press NEXT. After a few seconds, the phone will show "Melody saved in my sounds", "Image saved in my images" or a message that the game has been saved.

I have a Sharp and I have downloaded the ringtone, but I cannot save it. What to do?
After entering your pincode, you press Ready. Now you hear the ringtone. Press the green "call" key and select Save Items. Now you can Play the ringtone and select Save.
